<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate line driving method and a gate line driving device in a liquid crystal display that can prevent an influence of potential difference ΔVp between a pixel voltage and a data line voltage and can effectively remove a poor residual image caused by a flicker phenomenon and a DC residual. <P>SOLUTION: A gate line driving method in a liquid crystal display includes: a step for inputting a compensating voltage Vgc into an Nth (N<the total number of gate lines) gate line at a time when the Nth gate line completely turns off in a current frame; a step for holding the input of the compensating voltage Vgc; and a step for stopping the input of the compensating voltage Vgc into the Nth gate line when inputting an on-voltage Vgh into the Nth gate line in a next frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
