<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmission system containing a transmitter that can simplify the construction of hardware. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitter for digitally transmitting a video signal through a transmission path has transmission path coding means for time-divisionally multiplexing a brightness signal and a color difference signal of a base band during a video period and time-divisionally multiplexing a control signal during a flyback period, and an interface for receiving receiver information through I2C (Inter IC control) bus. The type of the control signal contains field repeat information of a video signal image which is used for control of image quality. The transmitter outputs an audio signal, and outputs the brightness signal, the color difference signal and the audio signal on the basis of the receiver information so that these signals can be displayed on the receiver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
