<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of easily and collectively grasping a utilization status of various facilities. <P>SOLUTION: A utilization record system 10 includes a sever 12 and a portable terminal 16 communicable with the server 12 through a network 14, and records a utilization status of facilities by a user having the portable terminal 16. A GPS circuit of the portable terminal 16 detects a current position of the portable terminal 16 at each prescribed time and acquires positional data associated with the detection time. Based on the positional data, a position history of the user having the portable terminal 16 is recorded. The server 12 determines whether or not the user has been existing in an effective region of a facility for more than effective time by referring the position history of the user and facility data set for each of the facilities. Then, based on the determination result, the server estimates whether or not the user has executed utilization behavior to the facility.
