<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encryption device that has prefix match storage type encryption such that units of match determination on a prefix are flexibly set and calculation loads by process units are constant, and that is adaptive to cipher with a ciphertext corresponding to a plaintext being not longer than before. <P>SOLUTION: The encryption device includes means of encrypting respective parts of the plaintext with some of other parts of the plaintext, a pseudo-random signal used to encrypt some of the other parts of the plaintext, and a pseudo-random signal generated based upon a secret key. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
