PURPOSE: A data transmitting method and an apparatus thereof and a data processing method and an apparatus thereof are provided to separate and process basic data and extension data, thereby supplying various functions to a user. CONSTITUTION: An obtaining unit(110) obtains basic of a data type defined in an open API(Application Program Interface) and extension data of a data type not defined in the open API. A converting unit(120) converts the extension data into the data type defined in the open API. A transmitting unit(130) calls the open API and transmits the basic data and the converted extension data to a server. A generating unit(124) generates a message by adding the extension data to the basic data. The transmitting unit calls the open API and transmits the message.
