PURPOSE: A cache server and a multimedia content providing method are provided to load head/tail information in a memory of the cache server, thereby quickly responding to a request of high resolution multimedia content. CONSTITUTION: A request grasping unit(220) grasps the first content providing request received from a client. A disc unit(250) copies content saved in a raw data server to perform caching. A memory unit(240) cashes shortcut content about partial content saved in the disc unit. A content managing unit(230) provides shortcut content of the first content to the client first and provides remaining content from the disc unit at timing when the shortcut content is completely provided. |
