SERVICE PROVISION METHOD, INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce power consumption of each terminal in a service provision method for providing a service according to the terminal's position information which is reported to an information processing device by the terminal.

SOLUTION: An information processing device is made to determine behavior of both terminals based on reported position information; store information showing the determined terminals to a linking information DB when it is determined that the difference in the behavior between both of the terminals is equal to or less than a threshold; transmits a signal showing a reporting mode in which a reporting frequency of the position information is decreased to the linked terminals so as to use the reported position information reported by one terminal as the position information of its own terminal as well as that of the other terminal when the position information is reported by the one terminal.
