<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a bright and high-quality image in an electro-optic device such as a liquid crystal device. <P>SOLUTION: An electro-optic device is provided, which modulates light incident to a display region comprising a plurality of pixels to outgo. The electro-optic device includes an electro-optic substance 50, a first condenser lens 210 disposed in an incident side of light and corresponding to each of the plurality of pixels, and a second condenser lens 220 disposed in an outgoing side of light and corresponding to each of the plurality of pixels. The condensing degree of the first condenser lens is larger than the condensing degree of the second condenser lens.
