<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire using a white LED in which good diffusibility is obtained, light grains in the internal LED can be made invisible without attenuating the quantity of light significantly, and color rendering can be enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: The luminaire 1 comprises a white LED 3a, a first light diffusion unit 4 which attenuates and diffuses the light emitted from the white LED 3a, and a second light diffusion unit 5 which attenuates and diffuses the light emitted from the first light diffusion unit 4.
