<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel translation information retrieval device and a translation device that select target language constitution information which better reflects the characteristics of an input sentence. <P>SOLUTION: A parallel translation information retrieval device comprises: input sentence acquisition means for acquiring an input sentence which is a sentence input in an original language; original language constitution information selection means for selecting original language constitution information corresponding to the input sentence from among a plurality of pieces of original language constitution information showing the constitution of the sentence of the original language, each of which including a fixed item showing a fixed character string and a variable item showing a variable character string of the sentence of interest; and target language constitution information selection means for selecting one from among a plurality of pieces of target language constitution information showing the constitution of a sentence of the target language corresponding to the selected original language constitution information, based on evaluation information associated with the original language constitution information and the target language constitution information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
