<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating type aluminum melting/holding furnace of high safety, having long service life, and capable of keeping high quality of molten metal and reducing probability of burnout of an induction heating coil. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical induction heating coil 21 is formed by winding a coil conductor several times with proper clearance gaps, the entire coil forming body is wrapped around with heat-resisting castable cement and molded to form an approximately-cylindrical induction heating coil molding 20 entirely coated with a heat-resisting inorganic cement covering layer 25, the induction heating coil molding 20 is disposed in a furnace frame in a fixed state, a pot-shaped crucible 11 made of an iron material having magnetic property, is disposed on a central hollow part of the cylindrical induction heating coil molding 20 in a state that it can be taken in and out, and an outer periphery of the crucible made of iron material is surrounded by the induction heating coil 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
