<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition for treating neurological disorders caused by Alzheimer's disease, central nervous system traumatic diseases, and an inflammatory component. <P>SOLUTION: The pharmaceutical composition containing an effective amount of an active component comprising docosahexaenoic acid is provided. Oral administration is preferable as an administration route. Preferably, the effective amount for the treatment per day is about 10 mg/kg. It is preferable that solid form preparations and liquid form preparations or the like as the pharmaceutical composition. As the solid form preparations, powders, tablets, pills, capsules, granules, dispersible granules or the like are preferable.
