<p>An assist device for a mobile body according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a pair of receiving bodies which are provided on either one of a support body and a mobile body that slides relative to the support body; a base body which is provided on the other of the support body and the mobile body; a pair of contact bodies which are provided on the base body, can be engaged with and disengaged from the pair of receiving bodies, and can move in a sliding direction with respect to the base body while the contact bodies are engaged with the receiving bodies; an urging mechanism for urging, from among the pair of contact bodies, a contact body disposed on one side in the sliding direction toward the other side in the sliding direction with respect to the base body; and a brake mechanism for imparting a force resistive to the movement of the pair of contact bodies.</p> |
