摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent electrode substrate which maintains high light transmittance, has low surface resistivity and is superior in conductivity; a method for manufacturing the same; an electronic device having the transparent electrode substrate; and a solar cell. <P>SOLUTION: The transparent electrode substrate comprises a transparent substrate and a transparent conductive layer that has a conductive metal mesh layer embedded therein and is stacked on one face of the transparent substrate. The method for manufacturing the transparent electrode substrate comprises the steps of: forming a first transparent conductive layer on one face of the transparent substrate; forming a conductive metal layer on the transparent conductive layer; forming the conductive metal mesh layer by subjecting the conductive metal layer to photoresist patterning treatment; and forming a second transparent conductive layer on a face of the metal mesh layer to cover the conductive metal mesh layer with the transparent conductive layer.
