<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly supply onions with leaves in the width direction of arrangement to a tapping apparatus equipped with a plurality of screw conveyors arranged in parallel in a harvested onion treating machine for cutting the stem and leaf parts of onions with stems and leaves. <P>SOLUTION: The harvested onion treating machine includes a conveying means for conveying supplied onions with stems and leaves, and the tapping apparatus for giving tapping treatment to the onions with stems and leaves supplied from the conveying means. The tapping apparatus includes the plurality of screw conveyors arranged in parallel to turn the direction of the stems and leaves in one direction while moving the supplied onions with stems and leaves, and a stem and leaf cutting means arranged at the downstream end of the screw conveyors. The conveying means includes at least a supply conveyor 25 for supplying the onions with stems and leaves to the screw conveyors.
