PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric exhibiting soft feeling and uniform formation attained by polymerizing PE with various polymers while suppressing petroleum resource consumption by developing PET/PE conjugate fiber using a biomass-originated substance as a material, and to obtain a replacement for a petroleum-derived product.
SOLUTION: A core-sheath type conjugate fiber including a fiber formation component in a core part and a thermally adhesive component in a sheath part, comprises 10% or more of radioactive carbon measured by using an accelerator mass spectrometer, the fiber formation component includes polyethylene terephthalate including radioactive carbon measured by using an accelerator mass spectrometer, and the thermally adhesive component includes polyolefin that is selected from the group consisting of high density polyethylene, an ethylene-propylene random copolymer, polyethylene block-copolymerized or graft-copolymerized with maleic anhydride and polypropylene block-copolymerized with polyethylene and maleic anhydride and includes radioactive carbon measured by using an accelerator mass spectrometer.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
