摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method of producing a triarylamine derivative by finding out novel cross-coupling reaction conditions substantially qualitatively proceeding without using a transition metal catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The method of producing the triarylamine derivative having substituted alkyl group, represented by the general formula (1) is characterized in that in solvent of cyclic ether the triarylamine derivative represented by he general formula (2) in which halogen atoms are substituted is dissolved or dispersed and, thereafter, are reacted with alkyl lithium reagent or alkyl magnesium halide reagent without using the transition metal catalyst. In the general formulas (1), (2), R<SB POS="POST">1</SB>to R<SB POS="POST">3</SB>present hydrogen atom or substituent. A plurality of R<SB POS="POST">1</SB>to R<SB POS="POST">3</SB>may be equal to one another or different from one another. Although n1 to n3 denote 0 or 1, all of them are not 0 at the same time. In the general formula (1), ALK presents an alkyl group.
