INK MEDIUM HOLDING MEMBER AND PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink medium holding member capable of easily identifying to what color a temperature-sensitive ink to be supplied from an ink ribbon changes, and to provide a printer.

SOLUTION: The ink medium holding member includes a holding unit and an indicating unit. The holding unit holds an elongated ink medium for supplying a temperature-sensitive ink whose color is changed depending on a temperature. The indicating unit indicates the same color as that in which the temperature-sensitive ink supplied from the ink medium held by the holding unit is changed.
