<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a razor and a method for performing hair tapering without requiring any particular skill, technique or training. <P>SOLUTION: A hair tapering razor for tapering hair includes a cutting blade portion 1, a shank portion and a handle portion, the cutting blade portion including blade means having a cutting blade with a cutting edge 1b for cutting hair with a predetermined angle, in a tapering direction from the root of hair toward the tip of hair, tapering regulator for regulating hair tapering at predetermined intervals, and blade holder including a flat portion that has an outer surface configured to be brought into close contact with hair to be tapered, the cutting edge of the cutting blade is configured so as to be on an identical reference plane 1g including the outer surface of the flat portion, an angle θ1 of a central plane of the cutting blade with respect to the reference plane is in the range of 0°<θ1≤40°, and the handle portion is provided at a slanting angle assuring the tapering operation in a natural posture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
