<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic wave acquisition apparatus that can produce a high-precision image by diminishing the effect of variation in timing of taking data in. <P>SOLUTION: The acoustic wave acquisition apparatus for producing image data, includes: a receiving element for converting an acoustic wave propagated in a subject into an analog electrical signal; an AD converter for converting the analog electrical signal into a digital electrical signal according to a reference clock signal; and a data processor. The data processor has: a first memory for storing parallel data; a counter for starting to count a reference clock signal before starting storage; a second memory for storing a count value from the count unit; and a determiner for checking by comparison whether the stored value is within a certain range to determine timing variation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
