The modular clamping plate has clamping surface on which several grey cast iron blocks (2) are arranged side by side and secured by a concrete block (1). More than 80% of clamping surface is provided with grey cast iron blocks. The number of grey cast iron blocks is more than 3. A positive connection between iron blocks and concrete block is obtained. The concrete block is made from aggregate base, polymer concrete, and other concrete-like materials.
