<p>Purifying a liquid medium having impurities, comprises e.g. conducting the liquid medium through a bed with a granular filter material (4), provided in a container, comprises (i) supplying contaminated liquid medium at the upper side of the filter material into the container, (ii) uniformly passing the medium over the cross section of the container through the bed, (iii) collecting at least the medium in a central lower region of the container, (iv) introducing at least a partial stream comprising at least a portion of the medium in a pipe (8) in the container, in a region of its lower ends. Purifying a liquid medium having impurities by conducting the liquid medium through a bed with a content of granular filter material (4) provided in a container, comprises (i) supplying contaminated liquid medium at the upper side of the filter material into the container, (ii) uniformly passing the medium over the cross section of the container through the bed, (iii) collecting at least the medium in a central lower region of the container, (iv) introducing at least a partial stream comprising at least a portion of the medium in a pipe (8) arranged in the substantially vertical and central in the container, in a region of its lower ends, (v) promoting a circulation of at least the medium in the container in such a manner that in the region of the lower ends of the pipe, a fluid in the pipe is injected and as a result an injector effect of the injected fluid of at least the medium is withdrawn from the vicinity of the lower ends of the pipe and passing the injected fluid of at least the withdrawn medium through the pipe, (vi) distributing the circulated medium from an upper end of the pipe, over the bed, (vii) withdrawing a purified medium from the filter material, and (viii) a decentralized flowing of the filter material by means of nozzles (3) decentralized in a container base (2) and/or in a area above the container base over its surface. An independent claim is also included for a device for performing the above method, comprising the container having a feeding device for contaminated liquid medium, a removing device for purified liquid medium and devices for implementing the granular filter material provided as a bed in the container, in motion, where a first of the devices for displacing the granular filter material, comprises a substantially vertical pipe and at least a nozzle for injecting a fluid into the pipe, which is arranged in the container vertically and in the central, and an upper end of the pipe projects over the top of the bed, and a second device for displacing the filter material from the center of the container spaced in a region above the container bottom in a lower region of the filter material or in the container bottom and over the cross section of the container, exhibits decentralized nozzles, through which a fluid can be introduced into the container.</p> |
