MOVABLE REAR COUNTERWEIGHT DEVICE FOR CRAWLER CRANE

Disclosed is a movable rear counterweight device for a crawler crane, which includes a sliding rail (1), a driving mechanism (2) and a trolley (3) driven thereby. The sliding rail (1), one end of which is connected with the rear portion (4) of a main platform and the other is connected with a mast by a pull rod (5), is mounted on the rear portion of the crawler crane mainframe. One end of the driving mechanism (2) is connected with the sliding rail (1) at the end thereof adjacent to the rear portion (4) of the main platform and the other is connected with the trolley (3). The trolley (3) is mounted on the sliding rail (1) and provided with a counterweight. The device makes the best use of the counterweight of the crane, enables the gravity center of the crane to be close to the rotation center to the greatest extent, thereby realizing the maximal suspending load of the machine and enabling the machine to be more stable. The trolley, which is driven by a cylinder and a link mechanism, carries the counterweight and moves bidirectionally towards or away from the gravity center of the machine along the rail mounted on the rear portion of the mainframe, and thereby improves the hoisting capacity and the stability of the crane. The device is convenient to install, disassemble and transport.
