<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical time-division multiplexed transmission method and an optical time-division multiplexed transmission system in which the system configuration is simplified without lowering the utilization efficiency of spectrum. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical time-division multiplexed transmission method, channel identification information is imparted to an optical time-division multiplexed signal by modulating the phase of a signal for a specific channel. The optical time-division multiplexed transmission system comprises a transmission unit which transmits an optical time-division multiplexed signal to which the channel identification information is imparted by modulating the phase of a signal for a specific channel, and a reception unit having means for receiving the optical time-division multiplexed signal and extracting the channel identification information therefrom, and dividing the optical time-division multiplexed signal based on the channel identification information obtained by that means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
