<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method that can produce yttrium manganate YMnO<SB POS="POST">3</SB>easily and at a low cost, and further, can efficiently produce rhombic yttrium manganate YMnO<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, hexagonal yttrium manganate YMnO<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, or a mixture of rhombic yttrium manganate YMnO<SB POS="POST">3</SB>and hexagonal yttrium manganate YMnO<SB POS="POST">3</SB>. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing yttrium manganate YMnO<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, a mixed acidic aqueous solution of an yttrium compound and a manganese compound, and a mixed aqueous solution of a base and hydrogen peroxide are mixed, and the obtained reaction product is filtered, dried, calcined for 1-10 hours at 400-700°C and then baked for 1-10 hours at 750-1,150°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
