<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely convey even a strongly curled recording medium without influencing image quality. <P>SOLUTION: An arc conveying part 240 of an image forming apparatus forms a conveyance path gap 90 by an inner belt guide plate 76 and an outer belt member guide plate 86. An inner belt member 75 and an outer belt member 85 are driven circularly in the conveyance path gap 90. Many beads are arranged to be attached to the contact side of the outer belt member 85 with a recording medium 1, and many granular magnet bodies are arranged in the outer belt member 85 so that magnetic poles are made uniform.
