<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of automatically releasing the password lock of an external storage device without adding a function to the external storage device. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus 100 comprises: memory card connecting means 108 for connecting a memory card 200 capable of being locked by a password; password holding means 101 for holding the password of the memory card 200; locked-state determining means 106 for determining whether the memory card 200 connected to the memory card connecting means 108 is in a locked state; and resetting means 105 for, if the memory card 200 is determined to be in a locked state, transmitting a lock release signal for releasing the locked state of the memory card 200 on the basis of the password. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
