<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guidance device capable of performing a route display at an appropriate position by superimposing the route display on an actual landscape seen by a driver so as to prevent the driver from wrongly recognizing that the driver is guided to a different road from a true travel route or a different facility from a destination. <P>SOLUTION: A route guidance device 1, which displays a route display showing an object branch being a guidance object in a travel route of a vehicle by superimposing the route display on an actual landscape seen by a driver, comprises: a display 20 to perform the route display at a display position corresponding to a position of the object branch; a distance error estimation section 41 to estimate a distance error between an actual position of the object branch and the position that the driver recognizes by seeing the route display showing the object branch; and a display control section 43 to correct, when another branch exists close to the object branch, a display position of the route display in the display 20 based on a positional relation between the object branch and the another branch as well as the distance error estimated by the distance error estimation section 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
