<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for improving retrieval accuracy by reducing a retrieval noise in fuzzy search for to-be-retrieved data showing recognition result. <P>SOLUTION: A retrieval execution part 13 uses a retrieval keyword to execute fuzzy search for to-be-retrieved data that shows results of recognition such as character recognition, voice recognition, braille recognition, etc. A retrieval result storage part 14 stores a retrieval result. A match determination part 15 determines whether or not a retrieval result character string completely matches the retrieval keyword. A recognition error evaluation part 16 determines a possibility that a recognition error occurs in the retrieval result character string, when the retrieval result character string does not completely match the retrieval keyword. An exclusion part 17 excludes the retrieval result character string from the retrieval result when it is determined that no recognition error occurs in the retrieval result character string, and it deletes the excluded retrieval result character string from the retrieval result storage part 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
