PURPOSE: An external use skin formulation containing onion skin juice, extract, or powder is provided to effectively protect skin from UV ray and to lighten skin tone. CONSTITUTION: An external use skin formulation contains onion skin juice, extract, or powder as an active ingredient. The external use skin formulation further contains lactic acid fermentation of onion skin juice or extract. The lactic acid bacteria include Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Bacillus Kasei, or Bifidobacterium lactis. An external use skin formulation is manufactured in the form of emulsions, lotions, creams, soludions, suspensions, hydrous products(oil and glycols), gel, mask, pack, and powder.
