<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bimetal assembly which holds a clearance between a bimetal and a heater. <P>SOLUTION: According to one embodiment of this invention, a bimetal assembly includes a heater 210 connecting with a movable contact and receiving power supply and a bimetal 230 which connects with the heater 210 at one end part and is disposed so as to be spaced away from the heater 210. The heater 210 includes a coupling part 112 coupling to the bimetal 230, a separation part 114 positioned so as to be spaced a predetermined distance away from the bimetal 230, and a connection part 116 connecting the coupling part 112 with the separation part 114.
