<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burglary prevention device of packed merchandise. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is a burglary prevention device mounted on packed merchandise so as to be freely attached/detached, and equipped with a crime prevention tag. The burglary prevention device includes first restraining means (6) and second restraining means (7) configured to move to a direction in which their interval is mutually changed. The packed merchandise includes deposition means (3) by which, when the both restraining means are isolated from each other with a predetermined interval, the restraining means are restrained from being extracted, and by which, when the both restraining means are moved such that the predetermined interval is changed, the restraining means are freely extracted. The burglary prevention device includes locking means (14) configured to, when the first restraining means (6) and the second restraining means (7) are isolated from each other with the predetermined interval, lock the both restraining means such that the restraining means are not movable.
