<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device in which the source data of a content can be displayed while being switched by reflecting the intent of a program content producer. <P>SOLUTION: Received streaming data is stored in the RAM (S2), and determination is made whether or not it is the switching timing of a video source with reference to the control data of the streaming data (S3). If it is the switching timing of a video source, video source data specified by source specification data is read from the RAM and reproduced (S4).
