<p>A power supply apparatus of the present invention is provided with: a first converter, which converts an inputted voltage into a first voltage; a second converter, which converts the first voltage supplied from the first converter into a second voltage; a voltage comparison unit, which compares the first voltage outputted from the first converter and a predetermined reference voltage with each other; a voltage comparison result outputting unit, which outputs first signals until it is determined by the voltage comparison unit that the first voltage is larger than the predetermined reference voltage, and which keeps on outputting second signals after it is determined that the first voltage is larger than the predetermined reference voltage; and a converter control unit, which performs control such that the second converter is stopped when the first signals are being outputted from the voltage comparison result outputting unit, and that the second converter is operated when the second signals are being outputted from the voltage comparison result outputting unit.</p> |
