<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a lamp to be installed in a fluorescent lamp fixture of either form, a form where a terminal at one end of a straight tube type fluorescent lamp is inserted into a socket on one side and then a terminal at the other end is inserted into a socket on the other side, or a form where terminals at opposite ends of a straight tube type fluorescent lamp are inserted into sockets at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: A straight tube type fluorescent lamp switching device includes: a first terminal (5) which protrudes from a housing; an operation body (9) which has an operation unit capable of receiving a pushing operation into the housing; a second terminal (6) which has electrical continuity with the first terminal (5) when a push operation is exerted on the operation body (9); and a torsion spring (12) which restores the operation body (9) to its initial state before a push operation is exerted. Inside the housing is provided an accommodation section (26) in which the operation body (9) is accommodated when a push operation is exerted thereon. The operation body (9) is constructed so as to tilt when a push operation is exerted from at least one side in a direction across and contrary to a protruding direction of the first terminal (5), so that at least part of the operation unit is accommodated in the accommodation section (26) by this tilting motion, and also the first terminal (5) and the second terminal (6) are made to have electrical continuity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
