<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional radioactive source distribution image processing system that achieves improvements in measurement efficiency and image resolution, and a processing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A three-dimensional radioactive source distribution image processing system 100 that comprises many position-sensitive detectors for measuring a radioactive source improves measurement efficiency through: a step for using a signal amplification processing part 120 to output a signal showing a volume of radioactive source energy and a signal showing an occurrence position of the radioactive source; a step for using a mode selection part 125 to select a detection mode according to the volume of radioactive source energy and the occurrence position of the radioactive source; a step for applying a coincidence method, a double gamma ray single tracking method, a coincidence method/gamma ray tracking method, and a double gamma ray simultaneous tracking method to operation; and a step for simultaneously performing various modes to maximize efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
