<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a program guide with high visibility for users. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 208 displays image information in a program content introduction column of a program guide and sets at least one of the vertical direction size and the horizontal direction size of the image information to be displayed to an integral multiple of the size of character information to be displayed in the program guide in order to improve visibility of the program content introduction column in the program guide. Then, when a scrolling display is performed, it is determined whether the width in the vertical direction (number of dots) of each program introduction column of program guide data having image information on the basis of a scroll time, is smaller than a predetermined threshold value, and when the width in the vertical direction (number of dots) of each program introduction column of program guide data after scrolling is smaller than the predetermined threshold value, image information corresponding to the program is erased from a flash memory 211. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
