<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroacoustic transducer which enables space control of higher degree in sound reproduction. <P>SOLUTION: The electroacoustic transducer comprises an oscillation device 10 which outputs ultrasonic waves 30 from a first vibration surface, and outputs ultrasonic waves 32 having a phase opposite from that of the ultrasonic waves 30 from a second vibration surface opposite from the first vibration surface, a waveguide 40 provided on the first vibration surface and having an opening end 46, and a waveguide 50 provided on the second vibration surface and having an opening end 56 in the same direction as the opening end 46. When the wavelength of the ultrasonic waves 30, 32 is λ, the difference d of lengths of the waveguides 40, 50 satisfies a relation: (n+3/4)×λ<d<(n+5/4)×λ (n is an integer). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
