<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of generating SC light having required band width and intensity. <P>SOLUTION: A light source device 1 comprises a fiber laser light source 10, a single mode optical fiber 20, and a multimode optical fiber 30. The single mode optical fiber 20 inputs seed light outputted from a seed light output end 11 of the fiber laser light source 10 to a first end 21 to guide the light, and outputs the SC light expanded in band by a nonlinear optical phenomenon occurring when guiding the seed light, from a second end 22. The multimode optical fiber 30 inputs the SC light outputted from the second end 22 of the signal mode optical fiber 20 to an input end 31 to guide the light, and outputs the guided SC light from an output end 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
