<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber fusion-splicing device capable of suppressing the deterioration of a windshield effect. <P>SOLUTION: An optical fiber fusion-splicing device 1 includes a fusion section 3 that is provided on a housing 2 for fusing optical fibers F to each other; and a windshield cover 6 for preventing the intrusion of wind into the fusion section 3. The windshield cover 6 includes: a closure elastic body 63 disposed to close a feed port 62 for introducing the optical fibers F into the fusion section 3, in cooperation with the closure elastic body 21 of the housing 2; an energizing spring 64 for energizing the closure elastic body 63 towards the side of the closure elastic body 21; and a transmission member 65 for transmitting the energizing force of the energizing spring 64 to the closure elastic body 63. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
