<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a principal authentication device and a method for reducing the management labor of authentication information by a user, and for suppressing the immobilization of the authentication information. <P>SOLUTION: A principal authentication device 10 stores identification information of a certain user and identification information of other users as well as information showing a predetermined relation, and transmits an input screen for authentication to a user terminal 30 of the certain user. The input screen promotes the input of the identification information of the other users who have the predetermined relation with the user of the user terminal 30 which has transmitted an authentication request. Then, the principal authentication device 10, on the basis of relevant user identification information input to the input screen, extracts a user who has the predetermined relation with the relevant user as an authentication user candidate of a user as the object of principal authentication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
