The present invention relates to a scheduling method, base station, and sysltem for an evolved base station in a long term evolution system. The method comprises: the evolved base station transmitting to a user equipment a downlink media access control layer protocol data unit (MAC PDU) for use in transmitting downlink data, the downlink MAC PDU having attached thereto a media access control layer control element (MAC CE), the MAC CE having attached thereto a piece of uplink resource allocation information for use in indicating an uplink resource to the user equipment; and the evolved base station receiving an uplink MAC PDU transmitted by the UE on the basis of the uplink resource allocation information. By using the MAC CE in the downlink data transmitting downlink MAC PDU for scheduling, PDCCH overhead is effectively conserved, particularly when a large quantity of packets are being transmitted, and system capacity is increased as much as possible.
