PURPOSE: An automatic focusing controller using a piezo actuator is provided to precisely measure the position of a lens. CONSTITUTION: An image processor(103) produces the focus value of an image. A driver(104) produces virtual target points according to the focus value control signal of the image processor. The driver generates an actuator control signal. A piezo actuator(100b) moves to final target point via virtual target points while repetitively moving a lens(100a) against a subject according to the actuator control signal of the driver.
