A synergistic combination and a composition for use as an acaricide, insecticide, pupicide and/or larvicide comprising at least one active ingredient A and at least one substance B. The active ingredient A is selected from the group consisting of bacteria, bacterial toxins, fungi, plant derivatives and mineral derivatives. The substance B is selected from the group consisting of fatty alcohols, fatty acid esters, esters of alcohols and oils. The active ingredient A and the substance B may be administered simultaneously, sequentially and separately.
