<p>The fleece layer has a laying carriage that is movable back and forth in transverse directions. Two card web conveyor belts (36) are provided for guiding a card web (6) to an upper carriage. The card web is guided from upper carriage to laying carriage. An upper run (54) of endless card web conveyor belt is extended from an infeed area of main portion to upper carriage and is served as a support surface for card web. Positionally variable pressing unit is actuated to produce a variable card web buffer in the upper run of the card web conveyor belt.</p> |
