The invention relates to a filter element for use on or in laser printers, fax machines or copiers, comprising a folded filter medium (1), wherein the folded filter medium (1) comprises end faces (2) and longitudinal faces (3). The filter medium (1) comprises folds (4) having fold valleys (5) and fold peaks (6), and has a fastening device (7) having an adhesion promoter (8) associated with the filter medium (1). With regard to the problem of designing and developing a filter element such that the filter element can be mounted on a laser printer, fax machine or copier, and be removed therefrom again without any problems while permanently avoiding leakages, the filter element is characterised in that the fastening device (7) is designed as a profile that can be inserted into the folds (4). |
