<p>A portable solar collector module (710) includes a solar collector (712) and a protective cover (714). The inner surface of the protective cover (714) includes a reflective surface (716) which reflects solar energy onto the solar collector (712) when the collector module (710) is in a deployed state. The collector module (710) alo includes a plane angle modifier (718) which adjusts the angle of the solar collector (712) relative to the solar elevation. A solar energy conversion system includes a solar collector and a water purification circuit (217). The energy conversion system may also provide electrical power by means of a turbine (260) in fluid communication with the working fluid of the solar collector (212). The solar collector may be a composite of a concentrated solar power (CSP) parabolic trough collector, a compound parabolic concentrators (CPC) evacuated tube collector and a photovoltaic collector.</p> |
