PURPOSE: A circuit protecting system is provided to prevent the performance degradation of a device due to a short or disconnection. CONSTITUTION: A first current sensing device measures a current of a first phase(151) of a voltage source. A second current sensing device measures a current of a second phase(153) of a voltage source. A logic unit(110) communicates with the first current sensing device and the second current sensing device and receives the measurement current of the first current sensing device and the second current sensing device and determines whether the measurement current of the first phase is smaller than a threshold current. The logic unit outputs the existence of the short in the first phase of the voltage source in response to the measurement current of the first phase which is not smaller than the threshold current.
