METHOD FOR TREATING TOXIC NEURORETINOPATHY OF ALCOHOL ETIOLOGY

A method for treating the toxic neuroretinopathy of alcohol etiology provides for supplementing the conventional therapy with Polyoxydonium at the total daily dose of 6 mg every other day N.5. One ampoule of the drug is dissolved in 4 mL of physiologic solution. 1 mL of the solution obtained (0.15 %) is administered by endonasal electrophoresis while the rest of the solution is administered intravenously dropwise in 200 mL of physiologic saline.
