<p>A resonant power converter comprising a resonance tank (14) formed by a capacitance component (C r1 , C r2 ) and an inductance component (L r ), at least two switches (Q 1 , Q 2 ) connected to the resonance tank (14) and a voltages source (12) in a bridge configuration (16), a number of snubber capacitors (C s1 , C s2 ) connected in parallel to each of the switches, and a controller adapted to control ON and OFF timings of the at least two switches so as to excite the resonance tank (14), characterized in that a voltage sensor (22) is provided for sensing a voltage drop (U s ) across at least one of the switches (Q 2 ), and the controller is configured to switch said at least one of the switches (Q 2 ) to the ON state when the absolute value of the sensed voltage drop (U s ) reaches a minimum.</p> |
